The latest console update is rolling out now

The update is gradually rolling out across regions without requiring an account transfer.

Performance profiles are now set per game, so you can hold a locked 60 frames in smaller titles while reserving boost mode for the heavy ones, and save transfers between consoles finish in under a minute.

The rollout is expected to finish this week. Nothing in the notes hints at a price change, and the previous firmware stays installable for anyone whose games misbehave.
